Youngstars Bands
At Youngstars Music School, we love bringing students together to form real bands based on their musical interests — from rock and pop to anything in between!
Alongside their individual music lessons, students can join our weekly Band Class, where they learn songs together, develop their skills as a group and work towards a real live performance at the end of the term.

Why Bands
Why Play in a Band?
Playing music with others helps students develop skills that you simply can’t learn on your own:
Students learn how to rehearse, work together, solve musical challenges and perform as a team — all while having a great time.
The Big Goal
From Rehearsal to the Stage
Each band works towards a real gig at the end of the term, giving students a goal to work towards and the excitement of performing in front of an audience.
Our students have performed in fantastic venues including The White Horse in Ballincollig and Coughlan’s Live, giving them genuine live performance experience.
The Reward
Watch Them Blossom
We’ve seen students grow enormously in confidence, both socially and musically through playing in a band.
For some students, it’s the first time they’ve had the opportunity to make music with friends. For others, it’s the next step in developing their performance skills and becoming more independent musicians.
There is nothing quite like seeing a group of young musicians walk onto a stage and perform something they’ve created and rehearsed together.
Learn. Grow. Thrive.
